Senior UI Designer
Apply nowUserGems is the AI Command Center for Signals, Outbound, and ABM. One place for all your signals, scoring, agentic workflows, and AI agents to run every Outbound play and ABM program. Powered by best-in-class data accuracy, AI contextual reasoning, and deep customizability. In short: UserGems is your GTM brain.
We’re seeking a Senior UI Designer to own and elevate the design vision of our AI-first product. In this role, you’ll be the design lead from day one while working hands-on and in close partnership with Product and Engineering. You’ll move fast, explore boldly, and see your impact immediately through rapid prototypes, weekly iteration cycles, and meaningful UX improvements that ship to users.
What you will do
- Own end-to-end product design for our core workflows. From signals-to-action and AI-assisted messaging to task management, reporting, and configuration. You’ll shape everything from user flows and systems thinking to hi-fi visual craft, interaction details, and micro-motion.
- Run pragmatic user research by planning and conducting interviews and usability tests. You’ll synthesize insights into clear recommendations that directly influence what we build next.
- Prototype rapidly, leveraging both traditional and AI-powered tools to explore variations, validate concepts with users, and de-risk solutions before engineering commits.
- Build and scale our design system in Figma, including tokens, components, patterns, accessibility guidance, and usage rules while ensuring consistency and quality as we grow.
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to scope work, make smart trade-offs, and ship high-quality UI improvements on a weekly cadence.
- Communicate with clarity and intent, whether through concise write-ups, short Loom videos, or thoughtful feedback that helps the team move quickly and confidently.
What you bring
- Minimum 3 years of product design experience, ideally in SaaS or B2B tools.
- A Portfolio with at least two shipped products showcasing systems thinking, interaction craft, measurable impact and clear storytelling including constraints and tradeoffs.
- Strong visual craft paired with sharp interaction design fundamentals, especially for dense, information-rich UI.
- Comfortable designing AI-assisted workflows (e.g., AI messaging, scoring or automated actions) and knowing when to hide or expose complexity
- Confident running user interviews, usability tests and turning insights into product decisions.
- Confident operating as the primary (or sole) designer by setting standards, driving clarity, and shaping the product end-to-end.
- Comfortable making smart decisions with incomplete information and validating through quick tests rather than long cycles.
- Proactive mindset: spotting UX gaps, edge cases, and opportunities before they become customer issues.
- Expert in Figma but also comfortable trying different tools and using AI to accelerate exploration.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Experience designing AI-first products
- Motion design fundamentals and comfort with analytics or light front-end handoff.
How we work across time zones
Europe-friendly hours with thoughtful overlap. Mornings are great for deep work and EU collaboration; late afternoons are used for leadership syncs, Sales/CS touchpoints, and many customer interviews with US-based users. We plan calendars to keep the cadence sustainable.
