Playbook 5: AE to prevent deal risk when someone leaves
Recommended for:
UserGems leads were prospects in an open or lost opportunity
To accelerate deal if the contact that left was a blocker
To prevent a deal risk if that contact was a champion.
Step 1 - Email the UserGems leads (if they were a champion)
Subject: Congrats on the new gig, {first.name}!
Hey Tim,
Congrats on the new gig! Appreciate you considering ACME while at {previous.company}. If there's a potential fit again at {new.company}, I'd love to help you evaluate.
Can you also let me know if there's anyone at {previous.company} that we can pick things up with? That would be very kind and much appreciated, thank you!
Step 2 - Email to his/her peers within the account
Subject: Tim’s departure Hey Andrew,
Tim was evaluating ACME for {account} prior to his departure. Would you/your team like to continue exploring?
