Our scores decide which companies your always-on campaigns powered by Gem-E will reach out to next automatically. And they help you surface under-engaged high-fit accounts for ABM plays which you can use to build audiences.

Want to export your top 500 for ads? Tag and sync with Salesforce? Filter out non-ICP regions like India or China? You can do that too.

Not Just a Score

Company Scoring in UserGems is built for marketers who want to use these accounts to take actions like build ad audiences and configure outbound campaigns. Although they can be guidance for sellers, the most valuable way to use these scores is for building and deploying campaigns. 

Instead of giving you a static list, we analyze 600+ data points per company and score them using four distinct dimensions:

  1. Company Similarity: How much does this company resemble your best customers?
  • Announcements such as Hiring, Partnership
  • Departments such as "Has Engineering Leader"
  • Employee size
  • Job posting info such as "mentions "user research"
  • Funding
  • Growth in L1M, L6M, etc
  • Hiring for specific roles such as Product Manager, Product Leader, etc
  • Targets B2B or B2C
  • Techstack such as Pendo, Jira, etc
  1. Company Signals: What is happening at the company right now. 
  • Are they hiring key roles? Have they visited the website? Did they recently launch into a new market? 
  • There’s also an option that allows you to specify your own signals
  1. Prospect Similarity: How closely do contacts at these companies match the ones in your open pipeline?
  • Are they persona matching, C-Level, etc

4. Prospect Signals: Who's showing buying intent? Who's a former champion?

This gives you custom-fit scoring out of the box tailored entirely to your customer base and ideal signals.

No Setup Required - but you can always tweak it!

Unlike other platforms that make you define scoring logic from scratch, UserGems gives you an intelligent, ready-to-go model. You can tweak it if you want, but the default is designed to just work.

Train the AI - No Data Science Degree Required

Company Scoring comes out of the box, but we know that there are often edge cases that we want to consider.

What makes a company a good fit isn’t just about signals and firmographics. It’s also about your judgment.

That’s why UserGems lets you train your AI model directly in the product within the audiences themselves or in the AI Training section of the settings page.

Under Settings → Train AI, you’ll find a mix of account types:

  • Excellent and Good fit companies, to reinforce what good looks like

  • “Bad fit” companies, to help the model learn what to avoid

  • Customer Accounts are also included in this, but don’t be biased! 

You can rate each account as great, good, okay, or exclude. Every click helps sharpen the AI’s understanding of your ICP without you needing to manually edit scores or build a model from scratch.

You can also give real-time feedback from any audience view, thumbs-upping or downing companies on the fly. Think of it as giving your outbound AI a gut check.

Why It’s Better Than Just a Fit Score

Unlike point-based tools that unintentionally reward large companies (because big companies always have more signals), we normalize scores by company size. A 4,000-person company with a strong signal won’t get buried beneath a 10,000-person company doing the bare minimum.
